Amanda Lawrence is a two time world champion-taking the best lifter award both times, she is unbeaten at that level. She has the highest GL points and the biggest raw deadlift of any woman in the IPF and her nominated total is 60kg ahead of her nearest rival. She holds the world record in the 84s in squat, deadlift and total. She has dominated the classic powerlifting scene for the last few years - can anyone challenge her? Here are the nominations:

Kristín Thórhallsdóttir competed internationally for the first time last year and she won convincingly at the Europeans in December. She may well find herself in an interesting position where the lifter ahead is too far away to catch and she has a comfortable lead on those behind.
She will need to keep an eye on the next cluster of lifters but they may be too busy jockeying for position and contesting the third step of the podium to mount a real challenge. While the big story will be about whether Amanda Lawrence can do the triple double (3 x World champion & best lifter), we could see an exciting endgame amongst the rest with some massive deadlifters in the field.
